LinkedIn profileDominique studied management at ESCP Europe. His master's combined corporate finance, financial and management accounting, and controlling, the toolkit he has used ever since.
He began his career in controlling at Trumpf, the German machine-tool and laser manufacturer. The work covered monthly reporting and variance analysis for business units, the annual budget and rolling forecasts, product and project costing, and the appraisal of capital expenditure.
Dominique then joined Coca-Cola in Switzerland as a senior management controller, where the focus shifted to a fast-moving consumer business: sales and margin analysis by channel and customer, the return on promotional and trade spend, rolling forecasts, and working capital and cash.
In both roles he worked as a finance business partner, turning ledger data into decisions for operational and commercial managers, and building the monthly reporting that management teams reviewed.
At CX Cash he writes guides that put the founder's formula next to the investor's reading of it, with every figure dated and sourced.
